Meet Delores

Some handbags accessorise an outfit. Others demand their own dressing room!

Meet Delores: flamboyant, fabulous and entirely convinced that the world revolves around her. And honestly? With a figure like that, she might have a point.

Her swirling pink, purple and gold glitter-patterned canvas is complemented by gold glittery and rich purple faux leather panels. Bright pink leather lacing runs through gold eyelets on both the front and back, embellished with sparkling diamante beads. Gold bag feet and two tassel charms complete her extravagant look.

Her detachable purple faux leather strap is a design feature in its own right, with interlocking links, gold-tone studs and matching metal fittings. Practicality has never looked quite so glamorous!

Original design, individual personality

The Diva Delores is part of my Basque Bag Collection, a series of sculptural torso handbags inspired by the human form. I designed the original pattern, then explored different fabrics, colours and embellishments to give each bag her own personality.

The devil is in the details

Delores's pink cotton lining features cheeky cartoon drawings of boobs, while her bright pink inside label declares “Hand Fucking Made”. Subtle? Absolutely not!

She also comes with a gold tassel charm and a beaded tassel, plus a mirrored logo tag.

Please note that the sculptural shape means the usable storage space is considerably smaller than the overall dimensions.

Not for shrinking violets

Delores is for someone who loves a little theatre, enjoys making an entrance and has absolutely no interest in blending into the background.

She's wearable art with a wicked sense of humour and a generous helping of sparkle. Perfect for a night out, a festival or anywhere an ordinary handbag would be terribly boring!
