Meet Madison

A little seaside glamour, a splash of shimmer and a whole lot of personality — meet Madison!

Inspired by seashells, mermaid colours and the magic of the ocean, Madison is a sculptural torso handbag with a playful streak. Her seashell-inspired vinyl features shimmering blue and purple details, complemented by a blue water-ripple cotton lining that brings the feeling of the sea right inside.

Gold hardware and a gold chain strap add a touch of glamour, while her shell charm and zip pulls are a little nod to treasures collected along the shore. Madison doesn't take herself too seriously, though. She's cheerful, characterful and always ready to add a little sparkle to an outfit.

A little more magic

Madison is part of my Torso Collection, a series of sculptural handbags inspired by the human form. I designed the original bag pattern myself, developing the shape and construction to bring the idea of a wearable torso sculpture to life.

The original design is the starting point for each bag, but the fabrics, colours, textures and embellishments give every version its own personality. I love experimenting with different materials and details to see just how much character I can bring to the same sculptural shape.

Madison's mermaid-inspired palette, shimmering blue details and gold accents give her a cheerful coastal-glamour look. But she's got another little surprise, too. 

Meet Madison's little digital companion

Madison comes with her own 3D-printed torso-inspired charm in black and purple, complete with a digital tag. Turn the charm over and you'll find two little words: “Tap me.”

Give the tag a tap with a compatible smartphone and it'll take you to links for my website and social media, making it easy to discover more of my work and follow along with what happens in the studio.

It's a little extra touch that brings together my love of bag-making, 3D printing and experimenting with technology. And of course, the charm itself is another little piece of Madison's personality!
