Meet Rosetta

Rosetta has a timeless elegance about her. Dressed in soft dusky pink faux suede, with delicate vintage lace and rich wine-coloured accents, she takes her inspiration from the curves and details of traditional corsetry.

Cream lace, corset-style lacing and carefully placed panels give her a romantic, lingerie-inspired look. She's not one for chasing fashion trends. Rosetta appreciates beautiful details, thoughtful design and a little old-fashioned glamour.

More than just a handbag

Rosetta is part of my Torso Collection, a series of sculptural handbags inspired by the human form. I designed the original bag pattern, developing the shape and construction to bring the idea of a wearable sculpture to life.

That original design is the starting point for every torso bag I create, but that's where the similarities end. I choose the fabrics, colours, textures and embellishments individually, bringing each design to life in my studio. I love seeing how different materials and details can completely transform the personality of the finished bag.

From Rosetta's romantic vintage lace to her dusky pink faux suede and rich wine-coloured accents, every choice contributes to her character. It's a combination of original design, bag-making skills and artistic experimentation that makes the Torso Collection so special to me.

Rosetta's details have been carefully chosen to complement her corset-inspired design, right down to her antique brass hardware and charming heart-shaped zip pull. The lace detailing continues around the back, so there's something to admire from every angle.
